Everyone does not work to the same standard as you. This leads to disappointment. When you start looking to others and comparing yourself to them, negative thoughts arise.
These thoughts may be directed to self if you see others doing more in an area you struggle, or the thoughts may be directed to others when they do not measure up to your level.
Other people can be an inspiration, but that’s all. Don’t let their actions dictate what you do. Just because someone else’s work ethic is not where yours is, that doesn’t affect you. Let that go and you do you.
You work for your GOD, they work for theirs. What another does is between them and their GOD and have nothing to do with you. Let it go.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; (Colossians 3:23 KJV)
