Have you ever needed to pray for something, but didn’t know the words to use? Have you ever sat and cried just because it was all you could do? Have you ever sighed so loud, with so much weight on your mind? Or ever stopped in your tracks, looked up, helpless as a child? These things that we do without knowing the reasons why…are prayers from the Spirit who knows our needs every time.
“Likewise the SPIRIT also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the SPIRIT itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Romans 8:26 (KJV)
It is a great comfort to me to know that when I am stumbling through life and sighing and crying and moaning with all the weight I cannot name, the HOLY SPIRIT is making intercession for me. HE relates my needs that I do not know I have; and those needs are heard by the FATHER. HE answers the prayers that I cannot ask and supplies my needs before I am aware of the need.
God is so great. We cannot fathom even a drop of HIS glory.

When I don’t know how to pray I just say thank you, Lord and Help! HE knows.
