Always be courteous.
I was taught to treat others how I want to be treated.
In that, I do try to anticipate what another may want and help if I can. I don’t always succeed, but I do try.
Even when I’m frustrated with someone, I still try to be courteous…it is the ‘right thing to do…”.
But this has become a way of life.
I don’t block intersections at traffic lights just so someone doesn’t cut in…
If someone has one thing to check out at the store and I have several, I’ll let the other person go ahead of me.
If we all just take a moment and humble ourselves, I think this world would be more content.

None of us are any better or more important than the other. We all have our values and beliefs we stand for, but we should give to others that same respect we desire.
So very true. And it is usually contagious. I guess there might be something to being the change you want to see in the world.

And it goes deeper than that…always be kind. Kindness is underrated.
