Equal

I’ve never been a fan…

Like I’m not a ‘fan girl’ of anyone.

I’ve always thought we’re all equal, so why put anyone on a pedestal?

I do like some people over others, but it’s because we match each other in certain ways.

As far as putting someone at the head of the table, that’s probably going to be the person you’d least likely expect.

The Bible says to not respect persons. Don’t hide the poor and esteem the rich… that’s never been a problem for me.

The Bible also says don’t pick the best position at the table, wait until you’re invited to sit and then see where they place you.

That’s me.

I’ll be the last to sit, or I’ll sit in the back.

I won’t speak unless I need to say something.

But we are all created the same way, given the same breath. We might not all have the same opportunities or the same path, but none of us are any better than the other.

We each come from the dust, and we each will return to it again.

We are all equal and all sinners. All fall short.

Show some grace, be humble and love your neighbor as yourself.
