Followers

I had someone ask me my thoughts on ‘following’ something…

We focus on “followers”, how many we have, how many likes and shares…

But it’s a scary place…

Am I following the right things?

I know the argument is that following someone on social isn’t the same as following them down a path…

But is it?

What if it is?

That’s a scary place to be…to think of all the people and ideas we follow but to where are we going?

Are we blindly following and going with the flow?

Lord, keep me in between thy rod and staff. Let this be my guide and what I follow. 

Just how close do we come to the fiery darts of Satan? What keeps us from going down the wrong path?

Only the Lord God.
