I’ll be your villain 
I’m good for that, it seems. 
If there’s something wrong with you,
Just take it out on me. 

No worries, my friend. 
I’m here for you, you see?
I can be the bad guy,
If that’s what you need. 

It’s a role I have
For many different people 
They just make something up 
For many different reasons. 

Maybe it’s justified 
Maybe I deserve the name.
Sometimes I think it’s crazy
Just how much I’m to blame. 

It’s not that I’m mean,
It’s just that I care. 
And if you need a villain,
I’ll always be there. 

It doesn’t change me. 
I’m who I’ve always been. 
Wear my heart on my sleeve
And have thin skin. 

But I’m still standing,
At the end of the day.
I’ll always be here
With a smile on my face.
