Nothing is ‘by chance’.
I think of my own life and how every person is carefully placed. Timing and circumstances align just so to orchestrate what seems like random events.
That’s the thing…
Our plans and everything we do to try to get ahead or get away are part of a larger plan.
Look at Joseph’s brothers, who through envy sold him into slavery.
But their actions were part of the plan.
God told Abraham that his seed would be in bondage for 400 years and all of that started when Joseph was sold.
Not that they were in bondage then, but that Joseph would save his family and bring them to the land where he had dominion.
And the Lord caused this all to happen.
HE also caused the next pharaoh to dislike the children of Israel. This is the beginning of bondage. Israel’s children were enslaved for the next 400 years until Moses was brought forth to lead them back to their promised land.
God placed each man and woman in the right place at the right time. He gave each one a heart and a duty that must be fulfilled.
It wasn’t something they had to do, it was something they were to do. There is no changing the Lord’s word. What He speaks comes to fruition.
It’s not the great big things. It’s all the little things that fall into place. And they don’t randomly fall; God places each and every piece exactly where it belongs.
Every thought. Every glance. Every move. Every breath. All of it is foreordained.
This very moment has been from the beginning.
That’s something we cannot grasp, but oh isn’t it amazing!
God is such an awesome God.
Nothing is a random event. We’re not ‘lost’ in the sense of not belonging; no we are on a path predestined for each of us. The randomness of life is carefully orchestrated just as those melodious symphonies. What appears chaotic or madness is beautifully arranged pieces with careful timing and thought. Our lives are those pieces. If any one part of which was missing, then the whole would be incomplete.
The beauty and mystery of life is as simple as letting the Master guide the ebb and flow. HE holds the melody. HE holds the timing. God holds every moment in His almighty hands.
